is ally of justice playable?

well my friend was building an ally of justice deck but it was running pretty slow so after seeing this i wanted to make my own but im running into the same problem bad draws, slow build
you guys got any ideas what i could use for a better build?
i started completely over and only have a few cards

cat of ill omen x3
dna transplant x3
imperial custom x2
allure of darkness x1
monster reborn x1
bottomless trap hole x2
mirror force x2
heavy storm x1
mind control x1
dark hole x1

All decks are playable you just gotta find the right cogs to get the machines going (see what I did there? :3)

I wouldn't be too concerned with trying to get DNA Surgery out fast nor would I want to protect it with Imperial Custom unless you plan on using more than 1 Continuous Traps. So no Cat or Imperial Custom.

Use cards like CardCar D so you can get more draw power and use cards like Solidarity. And Pot of Duality is always nice.

Since most monsters are Level 4 Dark Machine, Black Slavo would be a godsend to have in the deck.

what concerns me is that their effects only work against light type monsters so wouldnt transplant be held at top priority

Well its kinda redundant to try so hard to protect it, you can run 1 imperial Custom but no Cats
